Care and Welfare
The safety, care and welfare of our students are extremely important at all times of the day and night. Before a student leaves their own country, Brooke House gives parents information packs with details of the care and welfare arrangements that we have four our students. We want parents to feel confident and happy that their child is in the best care possible while they are away from home.
Supervision and Risk Assessment
The campus and student houses are supervised at all times of the day and night by our residential staff. Excursions and activities are always planned, organised and risk assessed for safety. There is always one adult to every fifteen students during activities and excursions.
The college has a full-time matron to look after students when they are sick and will arrange doctor and hospital appointments for any students if needed. In addition to the matron, a number of residential staff, teachers and senior staff are trained in First Aid. Brooke House College will contact parents to inform them when their child is sick or needs medical attention .
